Purpose of work – design of steam turbine geothermal binary cycle power plant for future development of geothermal fields which able to make better use of geothermal resources in comparison with the existing steam turbine plant on geothermal energy sources. The state of the existing geothermal power plants is presented an estimate of the thermal characteristics of promising geothermal fields of the Kamchatka region, is given. As a result of this investigation the concrete geothermal field is chosen, and the design of steam turbine plant with capacity of 25 MW is fulfilled.
Methods for assessing strength of engine parts.
# 09, September 2011
A.Yu. Arpishkin, L.L. Myagkov
The article provides an overview of methods for assessing fatigue strength of basic parts of piston engines. It considers the techniques such as deterministic, statistical and dislocation approach. Deterministic and statistical methods of calculation require a large amount of experimental data, or set a large margin, which leads to unreasonable waste of material and overweight details. Potentially, the dislocation approach allows determine a more accurate damageability of items in different locations, which have different stress-strain state.

# 09, September 2011
B.I. Semenov, S.S. Rapohina, A.M. Sedyh
In this paper the study and the simulating structural features defining physical and mechanical characteristics of carbon filaments were considered. The mathematical relations were obtained on the basis of experimental data. These results allow building a transition from a database of a fiber to the knowledge base and simulating patterns of destruction of pultruded rods.
Research of influence of structure on properties of forgings of VT3-1 alloy.
# 09, September 2011
E.V. Voronejskii, S.A. Evsyukov, A.I. Alimov
Results of the research of material VT3-1 in connection with the systematic acquisition for understated plastic properties of forgings after hardening heat treatment are presented. Formation of the microstructure of titanium alloy VT3-1 subjected to plastic deformation depending on the strain rate conditions is considered. It is shown that the nature of the structure of titanium alloys is formed during deformation and cannot be corrected by heat treatment. Along with strain and temperature strain rate has great influence on getting the desired microstructure of the alloy.
Prospects for Using Solid Fuel from Biomass.
# 08, August 2011
A.F. Kuftov, Yu.S. Kuz'mina
The article is devoted to the evaluation of prospects for the use of solid fuels from biomass. The author analyzes the existing volume of raw materials, production and processing technologies and comes to the conclusion that using of pelletized fuel from wood waste and arable crop residues and other biomass has no prospects in producing heat and power in small stationary power generation units.
Modelling of elasto-plastic strains of the condensed particles in the course of two-phase supersonic stream interaction with a wall
# 08, August 2011
K.Yu. Aref'ev
In the article the mathematical model and results of numerical research interaction of a stream spherical particle of the condensed phase, moving in a supersonic gas path, with a barrier located perpendicularly to a stream is presented. Calculations interactions are based on results of study of movement particles in a path accounting their thermal condition. It is shown that final deformation particles does not depend on their size, and interaction time from speed. Results of modeling will be coordinated with experimental data of other authors.
77-30569/216895 The semianalytic trajectory calculation technique based on the generalized design parameters and the guidance program parameters. Prospects for its further usage
# 10, October 2011
S.V. Benevol'skii, P.G. Kozlov
The problem of designing new terminal guidance algorithms, based on the nonlinear prognosis of the powered portion of flight of the flying vehicle, is quite relevant nowadays. In this article the semianalytic integration technique is reported. This algorithm provides the desired prognosis with a minimal computation effort. The concerned method is universal and eligible for a wide range of flying vehicles. It is based on the curve fitting of the pitch and apparent velocity programs involving standard functions. This article reveals how to obtain the numeric parameters, required for the algorithm realization, and how to transform them to the condition, suitable for the further operations. Then, the trajectory restoration process is described; it utilizes the derived analytical functions and numerical large-step integration. Besides, the article indicates how this method can be applied to various ballistic tasks.

77-30569/216424 Algorithms of interactive augmented reality
# 10, October 2011
A.N. Alfimcev, A.A. Levanov
Research and development of human-machine interfaces, based on a recognition and visualization of multimedia information, is the forward edge in elaboration of modern mathematical methods and software. Developers of such interfaces try to use the natural human ways to communicate with computers through different modalities. Hand gestures of the user are very promising for building such interfaces. The soft-hardware system, that uses a video camera and a pico projector to create an interactive touch pad on a horizontal surface, is presented in the paper. The system creates the simple human-machine dialogue by organizing an additional way to communicate through the projection of graphical user interface. An original computationally efficient algorithms of object recognition and tracking, that provide the interactivity, are presented. The results of experiments and the model of the system are described.
Analysis of the telemetry from the spacecraft, "Jubilee"
# 08, August 2011
S.V. Benevol'skii, V.I. Maiorova, D.A. Grishko, N.N. Hanenya
The article describes the problems of efficient analysis of the telemetry data coming from spacecraft. The necessity of spacecraft on-board parameters constant monitoring over a period of circuit is justified. The main difficulties of received data processing are illustrated, some variants of solutions are given. The statistic observation results of “Yubileiny (RS-30)” satellite during the 2008-2011 years, made by Bauman university Mission control center, are demonstrated. The conclusions about present-day condition of the satellite are brought forward to.
Tomographic methods in the theory of secondary quantization
# 09, September 2011
A.K. Fedorov, S.O. Yurchenko
Relationship between tomographic representation of quantum mechanics in which quantum states are described by symplectic tomograms, and the theory of canonical quantization is discussed. As in quantum tomography, and in the theory of canonical quantization using linear canonical transformations. It is shown that the Bogolyubov transformation does not generalize the transformations used in quantum tomography. We consider the construction of second quantization in the tomographic representation and found that the density operator of a many-particle analog of the expression for the symplectic tomograms. As an example, solved the problem of a quantum chain of oscillators.
The use of STAR-CCM in order to clarify the hydraulic conditions around thermocouple placed at the inlet of nuclear fuel assembly TVS-2M
# 09, September 2011
M.V. Halizov, P.V. Markov
In article summarized the main steps for creating a computational model, preparation of a solid model in Solidworks and mesh in STAR-CCM. Author outlines the main assumptions made in mathematical and physical models. For the various high-Raynolds turbulence models flow rate of the coolant through the three cross-sections in the central tube of TVS-2M was assessed. While inlet flow rate was known. As result independently of the choice of turbulence model a stable proportion of rates in different sections was achieved. The flow rate near the thermocouple by an average was 0.146 kg / c, which lies between the value of 0.130 kg / c, obtained in the NRC "Kurchatov Institute" with the calculation code SC-1 and 0.160 kg / c, according to JSC «Afrikantov OKBM». The obtained results were used to determine the amount of the methodical error of the temperature measurement, due to hydraulic conditions near thermocouples. Further work is devoted to usage of a more detailed and precise CFD model.
