Bench test results of a sixteen-step gearbox with automatic control

The paper presents theoretical dependences which allow to calculate the main parameters of a pneumatic actuator of a multi-step mechanical synchronized gearbox, depending on the parameters of an engine, a gearbox and conditions of traveling resistance during the synchronization process with alternating pressure and various air escapes into a pneumatic cylinder: critical and subcritical escapes at constant pressure. Results of theoretical investigations and bench tests were compared. Calculated values of synchronization time at separate stages and at the whole cycle of gear actuation differed from experimental data no more than by 10-25%.
Research data on the electric vehicle with "Gazelle" chassis

 The authors describe reasons for creating environmentally friendly vehicles, such as electric vehicles with a hybrid power plant. Specifications of the best known world analogues of electric LC vehicles are presented in this work. The authors consider features of the experimental model of the "NNSTU-Electro" electric vehicle created on the basis of "Gazelle" chassis developed and produced in the NNSTU. The results of theoretical and experimental studies of traction-speed characteristics and energy consumption when driving an NNSTU-Electro electric car in the urban cycle and steady motion are also provided in this article.
Investigation of the possibility of gear change during movement of a car with use of indexes which characterize actual and kinematic interval of revolutions of transmission’s drive parts

The paper presents differential equations of vehicle’s motion at the moment of gear shifting during ascent or descent of a vehicle. The influence of time of gear shifting on the value of vehicle's speed variation and generalized parameter – the actual interval of revolution of transmission’s drive portion in cases of gear shifting to the speed-increasing or speed-reducing gear. Analytical dependences between the size of the actual interval of revolution, parameters of the gear box, car and external resistance factors were obtained. Conclusions regarding the influence of the actual interval of revolution on the output parameters of transmission and vehicle were drawn.
Mathematical dependence of physical-mechanical properties of snow cover as support base for movement of vehicles

The article systematizes information about characteristics of snow cover significantly influencing cross-country ability, movability, mobility, energy efficiency and other properties of the vehicles. The authors provide equations of the most important communication parameters of snow cover condition, such as density, hardness, rigidity, cohesion, coefficient of internal friction, moisture, temperature, relative deformation, shear which are obtained from experimental data. Basing on the analysis of these dependencies the authors specify existing models of snow which are used to describe interaction of an engine with its support base.
Innovative "KOM-NAMI" gearboxes with mechanical and automatic control

The article tells about original constructions of non-blocking synchronizers, planetary space-saving demultiplicators with inbuilt synchronizer and high load-carrying capability, “KOM-NAMI” space-saving gearboxes that were developed on the basis of these devices with prospective qualitative characteristics. There is information about gearboxes for light commercial vehicles, buses and multiple-speed gearboxes for heavy dump trucks and tractor-lorry-trailer combinations. The paper describes clarified analytical dependences that are based on minimal source data available from any advertising pamphlet or catalogue and could be used for estimation of load-carrying capability of an aggregate or its elements. This could be used for calculating of metrics impartial assessment including gears contact and bending durability factors that are necessary for design of new and prospective gearboxes.
Researches of interaction of the pneumatic wheel with ultralow pressure and the snow roadbed

In this paper the question of interaction of pneumatic extra-low pressure tires with snow is considered. The simulation model of contact interaction of pneumatic extra-low pressure tires with snow is presented. The model is realized by means of numerical computing environment MATLAB. Comparison of the settlement data with the data of experimental researches for the vehicle "Viking"-2992 on tires 1300х600-533 models "Trekol" is made. The analysis of parameters of wheel-terrain interaction of the off-road vehicles is carried out. The interaction parameters are received in mathematical dependence on air internal tires pressure in taking into account known physico-mechanical parameters of snow.
